Dear Everett School Community,
By now, you should have received an important communication from the City of Everett with the decision to close school beginning tomorrow, Friday, March 13, 2020 and for students to return to school on Monday, April 27, 2020.
I understand that the decision to close schools will create disruption, but we believe that this is the best path forward to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus. EPS will be providing meals-to-go from the Everett High School lobby from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. These lunches will be available starting Monday, March 16th until Friday, April 17th, with the exception of Good Friday, April 10th. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in the Everett Public Schools or Saint Anthony’s School.
We cannot stress enough that our priority at EPS is the health and well-being of our students, families, staff and the entire school community. As the safety of our community remains our primary focus, we hope that you and your family stay safe and healthy.
